A spectacular dimensional vintage rhinestone brooch attributed to Juliana / DeLizza & Elster, featuring rich smoky brown elongated navette stones, brilliant aurora borealis rhinestone accents, and two dramatic ribbed givré glass focal stones at the center. The Juliana attribution is based on the combination of construction characteristics visible on the reverse and profile of the brooch. The elongated navette stones are unfoiled and set into open-backed stone cups, a technique documented as being used prolifically in DeLizza & Elster designs. The piece also displays the raised, layered construction and complex mixture of stone shapes and specialty glass associated with D&E jewelry.
