Product Details

This is a vintage 1962 First Edition of Reader's Digest Condensed Books, presented in its original slipcase. This volume features six captivating stories: 'Second Growth' by Ruth Moore, 'To Catch an Angel' by Robert Russell, 'I Take This Land' by Richard Powell, 'America America' by Elia Kazan, 'Hell Creek Crossing' by William Faulkner, and 'Two Hours to Darkness' by Antony Trew. Each story is accompanied by charming illustrations from various artists including Ed Vebell, Fred Otnes, Arthur Shilstone, Martha Sawyers, Noel Sickles, and Ken Riley. The book is bound in a striking faux leather spine with decorative gold accents, and the boards feature a unique blue and yellow abstract design with figures.
