2002-D Jefferson nickel struck at the Denver Mint. The obverse features Thomas Jefferson, while the reverse displays Monticello. This is a regular business-strike nickel, not a U.S. Mint proof, because official 2002 proof nickels were struck at San Francisco and carry an S mint mark.
