Despite the title prominently displaying the year "1963", this limited series was actually created in the 1990s as an intentional retro homage to the Silver Age of American comic books.The Creators: The six-issue miniseries was written by legendary author Alan Moore alongside artists Rick Veitch and Don Simpson, who perfectly mimicked the classic 1960s Marvel styling.The Characters: The hero leaping on the cover is U.S.A. (Ultimate Special Agent), a patriotic character modeled after Captain America and Nick Fury.The Stories: This issue contains two stories: "Double Deal in Dallas!" (starring U.S.A. dealing with an alternate version of the JFK motorcade) and "It Came From... Higher Space!" featuring a dimension-hopping astronaut called The Hypernaut.
