Excellent old full color sculptural bust of a Native American Indian made in 1966 by the Universal Statuary Corporation of Chicago. This bust is made of a plaster-resin composition and hand painted in deep vivid colors with exceptional detail. It depicts a Native American Indian male with long braided hair, a feathered headdress, and turquoise jewelry and beads around his neck. The wonderful detail shows on the backside as well. The back is inscribed "320 - UNIVERSAL STATUARY CORP. - CHICAGO, ILL. - © 1966". The bottom is covered in black felt. It stands 11" tall by 7" wide by 5" deep, and weighs almost 4 lbs.
