Vintage Sony EV-C8U Video8 Cassette Recorder/Player Deck – Powers On, Untested Vintage Sony EV-C8U Video8 cassette recorder/player deck. This unit powers on and the controls respond as they presumably should. We do not have a Video8 tape available to perform further testing, so it is being sold as-is and untested beyond power-on. The EV-C8U was designed for playback and recording of Sony Video8 tapes and features front-loading cassette operation with composite video and audio outputs for connection to compatible televisions and recording equipment. The unit shows some scratches and cosmetic wear from normal use and age. Please review the photos for the best representation of its condition.
