This is a lovely strand of vintage Italian Venetian glass beads. They are characterized by their multi-colored, hand-applied trail glass stripes wrapped over an opaque glass base, which creates a whimsical candy-striped or marbled appearance. Comes with matching clip on earrings! Necklace is short at 15”, shepherds clasp marked Italy. This style of striped, colorful art glass bead necklace gained notable popularity between the 1940s and 1950s.
