LEGO 80116 Trotting Lantern is a Seasonal Chinese Traditional Festivals set released in 2025, containing 1,295 pieces and 5 minifigures. The build is a large brick-built lantern that opens to reveal compact living spaces and incorporates Year of the Snake symbols, including a dedicated zodiac minifigure. It includes a LEGO light brick activated by pressing the rotating central column, plus two alternative silhouette windows to vary the lighting effect. The set introduces a unique LEGO dumpling element and launched for Lunar New Year, first available on 26 December 2024 in China and parts of Europe, followed by a wider release from 10 January 2025.
