Add a touch of mid-century charm to your table or collection with this rare pair of MG Parksmith Corp. rolling race car salt and pepper shakers. Featuring an adorable boy and girl driver, these whimsical ceramic cars roll on their wheels and capture the playful spirit of the 1950s–1960s. Each shaker is made in Japan and retains its original plastic stopper. The bottoms still display the original souvenir stickers from the Grotto of the Redemption in West Bend, Iowa, adding an extra layer of vintage character and history. Condition: Good vintage condition with no cracks. One car has a small chip on the back (see photos). There is light paint loss consistent with age and use. The original adhesive securing the drivers’ heads and the metal plates on the underside has naturally darkened over time.
