This a rare celluloid cat head purse / compact. It's small and has a tassel at the bottom. The string handle does have some wear - and I cannot get the bead to go higher and open the compact more for fear of breaking the string. There are a few cracks (front piece right ear, back piece near hinge, and the inside holder bar has come unattached at one side. There is a small mirror with a green frame inside, and I can't remove it for fear of breaking things further. The piece is old, rare, and fragile. The head measures 2.25" long.
