There are seasons when faith does not feel triumphant. There are moments when grief is heavy, answers are few, and the road ahead seems uncertain. Held was created for those moments. Inspired by Psalm 34:18, this artwork reflects the promise that "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." It portrays a quiet scene of comfort and compassion as Christ draws close to someone carrying sorrow too heavy for words. The image is not one of victory after the storm has passed. It is a reminder that God is present in the middle of it. He does not turn away from our pain. He does not abandon us in our grief. He draws near. Included with the print is the matching devotional card, which explores the truth that God is often closest in the places where our hearts feel most fragile. The devotional reminds us that even in life's hardest moments, we are not forgotten, forsaken, or alone. You are held by the One who loves you beyond measure. Whether placed in a bedroom, prayer corner, counseling office, church office, or given to someone walking through loss or hardship, this piece serves as a quiet reminder of God's nearness and care.
