Vintage Carved Green Onyx Mexican Warrior Necklace. Stamped TAXCO 925 on backside of hook clasp. Measures approximately 19" long. Please refer to all pictures as they are part of the description. Given the style of the hand-carved green onyx Aztec/Mayan masks and the layout of the silver panels, this piece is a classic Pre-Columbian Revival statement necklace. It was most likely crafted during the 1940s to 1950s, an era known as the Mexican Silver Renaissance when travelers heavily sought after these striking cultural designs.
