Art Deco-era bar brooch. At its center sits a stunning oval cabochon showcasing a genuine Blue Morpho butterfly wing encased under protective glass. The central setting features a delicate bezel border, mounted on a classic, sleek sterling silver bar. (Stamped 'STERLING SILVER' on the reverse) Era: Vintage / Art Deco (Circa 1920s - 1930s) Total Length: Approx. 2.75 inches (7 cm) Approx. 0.75 inches (1.9 cm) high Fastening: Traditional hinge with a secure, classic C clasp. Overall Condition: Very good vintage condition with beautiful natural patina to the silver. The butterfly wing retains an exceptionally bright, vivid flash. There are natural fine lines and a dark structural vein line visible across the wing (as pictured), which is entirely characteristic of genuine organic material of this age.
