Product Details

Lot of 24 vintage color snapshots, 3.5x5 prints, from a mid-1970s East Coast trip, likely 1974 per Kodak date stamps ('19 74') visible on two Independence Hall interior shots. Highlights include the iconic Rising Sun chair in Independence Hall's Assembly Room, the Supreme Court Room with tourists, a close-up bronze plaque for the First Bank of the United States/Stephen Girard, and colonial chamber interiors with quill pens and inkwells. New York content includes multiple Statue of Liberty views from boat and shoreline, hazy Manhattan skyline shots featuring the Twin Towers, and tourists photographing Lady Liberty. Also includes the Jefferson Memorial interior, a Philadelphia streetscape, a historic cemetery marker, a colonial courtyard possibly Williamsburg-style, and a few unidentified figures at historic sites. All are color prints showing the heavy pink/magenta/orange color shift typical of 1970s Kodak processing; several are faded, soft-focus, or affected by color cast, with quality ranging from average to good. No handwritten captions on most prints; two bear Kodak '19 74' date-stamped borders confirming the trip year. Sold as a themed historical/travel lot documenting Philadelphia's Independence Hall complex and New York City landmarks. Associated with the estate of USAF Col. Patricia Jane Harrington. Please review photos for condition.
