A beautiful masterpiece of early American Depression Era glassware! This is an original 1930s pink depression glass ruffled console / fruit serving bowl in the iconic "Mayfair" (Open Rose) pattern, manufactured by the Hocking Glass Company between 1931 and 1937. Features a spectacular top-down presentation with a central rayed sunburst, wide optic panels, and a gorgeous deeply embossed border of wild roses and delicate bow swags running along the heavily crimped, ruffled rim. A spectacular centerpiece bowl for your vintage tablescape or display cabinet. Pattern: Mayfair / Open Rose Manufacturer: Hocking Glass Company Condition: Excellent vintage condition. High clarity pink glass with a brilliant rosy glow. Embossed rose detailing is incredibly crisp. Free of dishwasher cloudiness or film. (Please review photos for exact condition details).
