Munwill - Swiss movement - running, driving, and winding well - Era: Approximately late 1930s to mid-1940s - Case: case and back are structurally sound with scratches from use given its age. Cleaned up well during polishing process. - Crystal: High-domed acrylic crystal (period correct). I polished it so it’s clear , 2 minor dimples / scratches that are not noticeable in my opinion. You can buff it out further , i chose not to. - Original silver dial with applied Arabic numerals and small seconds. The dial has attractive even patina and appears original. - Overall very good condition. The case still has crisp lines, though there is plating wear on the crown and minor scratches. - Thick, block-like stepped bezel - Hinged-looking hooded lugs - Pronounced curved crystal - Long rectangular proportions These details were expensive to manufacture compared with simpler flat tank cases, suggesting this was intended as one of Munwill’s higher-grade offerings.
