Product Details

Signed Miriam Haskell brooch, c. 1950s, in the house's unmistakable style. A large grey baroque pearl dome sits at the center, ringed by clear rhinestones, small cream seed pearls, and a border of grey baroque pearls — all hand-wired to antiqued Russian gold filigree. Haskell's filigree has a soft, warm tone that sets it apart from ordinary gold plate, and the irregular baroque pearls give the piece its organic movement. Signed on the oval plaque (see photo). About the Seller
Hi, I'm Darcey also known as D'safety Lady I curate vintage, antique and costume pieces I love, that I would wear or pass to someone I love, pieces I know will hand someone a fond memory back or bring them joy. Repairing and repurposing things has healed grief I didn't know how to speak. Folie à Un — a madness of one They will tell you the world is too dark for your shine. Let them. They are only describing the small, gray rooms they live in. Life is too short to leave unadorned, and grief too long to survive unchanged. Being unapologetically extra is a radical act of survival, staged in sequins. Sorrow moves through my hands like gold through fire. Anger, unclenched, becomes a stone cut sharp enough to catch light. This is how I survive: turning what broke me into something someone else will treasure. Every find, a beautiful folly. Every wound, a mosaic. Every one of us, foolish, and radiant for it. — Dee's Folly, LLC🐦‍🔥
