Boss Keystone case - Approximately 1947–1952 - Mid-century American tank with recessed small seconds - Exceptionally clean movement - new brown genuine leather band The Cal. 558 was one of Elgin’s better manual-wind rectangular movements and was used in the higher-end De Luxe line. Dial - Appears original. - Attractive silver two-tone finish. - Printing is crisp. - No obvious refinishing. - Very little spotting. - Excellent Case - Gold fill still looks very strong. - No obvious brass showing through. - Sharp edges remain. - Typical hairline scratches only. The J. Boss Keystone case has held up extremely well. Movement This is probably the nicest part. - looks clean - no corrosion - no obvious screwdriver damage - proper blued regulator - jewels look excellent Crystal Only downside . I polished , but there is a chip. Crystal remains clear despite that. Replacement recommended
