Product Details
Fantastic vintage Pac-Kit first aid case, dating to the late 1940s–early 1950s. The substantial black metal case is marked “FIRST AID ‘PAC-KIT’ — The Pac-Kit Company, Greenwich, Conn.” This is a great piece of mid-century American medical and industrial history, with a wonderfully utilitarian design and authentic aged finish. The case has plenty of honest vintage wear, including scuffs, scratches, and areas of finish loss that add to its character. Pac-Kit traces its first-aid origins to Burroughs Wellcome’s 1922 Pac-Kit system, with the first-aid operation becoming an independent business after World War II. Condition: Significant vintage wear to the metal case, including scratches, scuffs, finish loss, and surface oxidation. Please examine all photos carefully. This is being sold as a collectible vintage case; any original medical contents should not be considered usable.
