This original early 20th-century magic lantern glass slide was produced by the renowned Keystone View Company of Meadville, Pennsylvania. The slide, cataloged as No. 118 (16771), is titled "Harvesting Peanuts, Marianna, Arkansas." It depicts a fascinating historical Southern agricultural scene showing Black laborers gathering and stacking peanut vines, a supervisor in a suit looking on, and two dogs standing in the foreground. The slide is bound in its original black tape protective frame and features clean, legible paper labels on both ends.
