This adorable vintage mid-century kitchen set features a complete collection of four ceramic teapot-shaped tea bag holders alongside their original wire display caddy. Hand-painted in Japan, each anthropomorphic piece comes in a distinct pastel color-pink, yellow, green, and blue-complete with blushing rosy cheeks, a smiling face, and black hand-lettered text that reads, "I WILL HOLD THETEABAG". Very good condition with no damage. Glaze shows some crazing and normal paint / glaze manufacturing marks. The spouts and handles are finished in a contrasting black glaze. The reverse sides are stamped with a clean "JAPAN" hallmark, and one teapot retains its original vintage foil import sticker. The accompanying industrial-style wire rack is designed specifically to stack and display all four pieces neatly, featuring a wire spring-coiled carrying handle, looped feet, and a rich vintage patina.
