12” with chain; 6.5” purse alone Beautiful antique Whiting & Davis Dresden enameled soldered mesh evening purse dating to the late 1920s–early 1930s. Features a hand-painted floral mesh in soft shades of pink, green, and blue, an engraved gilt-tone Art Deco frame with geometric clasp, original chain handle, and green satin lining. A highly collectible Jazz Age accessory showcasing Whiting & Davis’ iconic Dresden mesh technique. Condition: Very good antique condition. Original satin lining shows expected age-related staining and light wear. Mesh appears intact, clasp functions properly, and the frame retains a lovely aged patina.
