You probably don’t need turtle pencil toppers… but neither did anyone else in 1975, and they still made them. That’s what makes them wonderful. Why my mom bought them… I have no idea. But, here we are. Three vintage Made in Hong Kong turtle pencil toppers who have clearly been discussing something important since the 1970s. One is waving, one looks pleasantly confused, and one has apparently decided nap time is the answer. These adorable hard plastic/resin novelty pencil toppers are marked “Hong Kong” and date to approximately the 1960s–1980s. Perfect for collectors of vintage school supplies, Hong Kong novelties, turtles, or anyone who appreciates delightfully odd retro treasures.
