This is the 2-quart rectangular casserole dish, better known as a PYREX Space Saver. This dish was designed to be matte black. (Technically, the name is charcoal) So that's why you don't see a shine. It is also why this pattern scratches so easily. Well, this one is in amazing shape. The corners, where you usually see the most damage, are really good.
