This 1883-CC Morgan Silver Dollar is from the legendary GSA Hoard — millions of silver dollars stored for decades in U.S. Treasury vaults and released by the Government Services Administration (GSA) in the 1970s. It comes in the original sealed GSA plastic holder inside the display box. Note that the GSA sorters were not coin experts: coins labeled when sorted into “Carson City Uncirculated Silver Dollar” and “Silver Dollar” holders thus these designations may not reflect the coin’s actual grade today — please review the detailed photos for exact condition.
