Through the Eyes of the Galaxy is an original fine art series exploring the emotions that define the heroes and villains of Star Wars through one powerful feature: their eyes. Inspired by Kanan Jarrus’ sacrifice in Star Wars Rebels, I wanted to create portraits that tell each character’s story without relying on dialogue. Every expression reflects defining moments, personal struggles, and the emotions that shaped who they became. The inaugural set, The Ghost Crew, captures Kanan’s sacrifice, the heartbreak of Hera, Ezra’s growth and understanding of Kanan’s sacrifice, Zeb’s strength and sorrow, Sabine’s creativity and conflictions, and Chopper’s love for chaos. Together, they tell the story of a family united by hope. This collection marks the beginning of an ongoing series that will continue exploring new characters and eras, proving that eyes truly are the window to the soul—and that every gaze has a story waiting to be told.
