Hi friends! Most of you know me as the girl who's either surviving 12-hour ICU night shifts, hunting down the best thrift finds, or running around with an iced coffee in hand. But I'm excited to let you guys know that next summer I'll be trading my usual routine for an incredible opportunity to travel to **Peru** on a medical mission trip! Being an ICU nurse has given me so much more than a career. It has shown me the power of compassion, kindness, and simply being there for someone on their hardest days. I'm so excited to use those same skills to care for people in communities with limited access to healthcare. Why? Because I want to help make an impact in helping those who need it the most. This trip is the perfect combination of my love for nursing, helping others, and stepping outside my comfort zone. I'm currently fundraising to help cover travel, lodging, and other expenses.
