Both pieces are crafted from fine porcelain and feature typical Rococo-revival or Neoclassical cloud-like imagery popular in late 19th-century and early 20th-century French luxury wares. They are bordered by raised, ornate gilt scrolling (scrollwork) along the edges. The artwork depicts playfully embracing cherubs/cupids painted in a soft, ethereal pastel palette reminiscent of famous classical masters like François Boucher or Peter Paul Rubens.
