This double strand is a masterclass in hand-formed glass: pointed leaf beads in three shades of mottled black-to-green, some nearly translucent, alongside "sugar" berry beads where crushed glass granules were fused permanently into a clear glass core — no two matching, since every one was made by hand. Her clasp is a work of art in itself, built into a flower shape from that same leaf and berry beadwork — designed to sit at the side as a feature, not hidden at the back.
