Signed by the illustrator W Lee Hankey. Published by Constable & Company, London. The vellum cover has some gilt loss on the backstrip and discoloration on the right cover edge. There may have been a ribbon on the outer edge that is no longer present. The outer page edges are deckled. The illustrations have descriptive tissue opposite. The paper is high quality, thick and textured. One ex-libris sticker on the left endpage was removed, one remains. Also, includes copies of black and white wood cut art and other small art. 99 pages.
