This would be really a cool item for a stage prop or display piece. This vintage item with the added novelty decals reminds me of something that would be found in a post-apocalyptic fallout type of world. 3700 CPM, vintage Salvest clamshell travel alarm clock, 50s, made in Germany, works, spicy luminous dial. 3700 CPM using the super sensitive GQ-GMC-600 Pro. It’s a unique display and show piece and a super spicy specimen from the past. And I personally think the decals and its aged, tattered, and deteriorated condition add to its character. Comes with CPM certification sticker located on the inside of the case under the plastic protective sleeve. It’s not stuck in place and can be moved around. Comes with a decal on the face, one on the clamshell case, and one on each side on the metal housing. These decals can be removed if desired, but I think they add to its character and make it more of a display and show piece. The whole purpose of buying this clock is because of its spicy luminous dial, and that’s why I added the decals in the first place. And they make this clock stand out in any display cabinet. Hands and dots glow green under a 365 and 395 UV light. Clock and alarm appear to be working, but I have not verified if it keeps time, and I can’t guarantee it’ll keep working since it’s around 70 years old. See pictures for condition. Condition has normal wear consistent with authentic vintage items. The clamshell case is faded and tattered, and the dye/paint is missing under the decal (see picture before decal was installed). This clock is not perfect. But who cares? The condition isn’t what makes this clock cool, but the fact it’s a super spicy specimen from the past. See pictures for size.
