This is a homebrewed game (NOT OFFICAL) Smash Remix — Super Smash Bros. N64 Mod Overview Smash Remix is a fan-made gameplay modification of Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 64, designed to expand the game’s roster and content while keeping its core mechanics intact. Purpose and Vision The mod was created to add new characters, stages, and features inspired by Nintendo 64-era games (and some later titles or rival platforms) without introducing new mechanics like wave dashing. The goal is to have tournaments where the new characters can compete against the originals, with all newcomers being viable. Core Gameplay Original characters: All 12 from the base game remain playable, with some alternate colors and regional variants added. New characters: 18 “Remix Characters” are introduced, including: Melee characters (e.g., Young Link, Falco, Dr. Mario, Ganondorf, Bowser, Mewtwo, Marth, Sheik, Peach) Brawl characters (Wario, Wolf, Sonic, King Dedede) Ultimate characters (Banjo & Kazooie) Unique to Smash Remix (Conker, Marina, Goemon, Crash). Bonus characters: Intentionally unbalanced bosses, clones, and non-N64 characters. Stages: Multiple new stages added, with some stage legality rules applied. Items: 11 new items introduced, mostly from later Smash games. Music: Expanded soundtrack with new tracks. Modes 1-Player Remix Mode: Single-player with the expanded roster. Multiplayer Remix Mode: 2–4 players with the same expanded roster.
