Product Details

Cruet Set and Stand. The cruet stand (I.P. 629) measures 5-1/4” across and has Mark Type 29. The pepper shaker (I.P. 604) and salt shaker (I.P. 605) measure 2-5/8” high. The covered mustard (I.P. 606) is 3” high. The shakers and mustard are mold marked: Irish Porcelain. As a complete set, the cruet was given the shape No. I.P. 606C ($60, £30). The cruets were also sold as a set of three without the stand and also as a two piece set of pepper and salt shakers only. From the mid 1950s, the Irish pottery produced butter dishes and fruit bowls and later, in the early 1960s, tableware items in various size ranges and patterns. Some patterns included teapots, coffee pots, and cups and saucers but few included plates. Occasional pieces with their own patterns were also produced, such as a cup and saucer or a plate. It wasn’t until the 1990s that full ranges of tableware were manufactured and then, for a short time only.
