Stunning, authentic Victorian Bride’s Basket centerpiece dating to the 1880s. The ornate silver-plated frame was made by the historic Middletown Plate Company (Middletown, CT) and features their famous stamped circular maker's mark on the base with the balance scale logo. Cased art glass with a deeply crimped, hand-tooled ruffled edge. Catches the light beautifully and acts as a striking standalone art piece.The Middletown FrameDesign: Heavy, footed silver-plated holder decorated with Victorian floral vines, scrolls, and relief work. Clearly stamped on the underside with the Middletown balance-scale trademark and item model numbers Excellent Antique Condition: The cased glass bowl is pristine with zero chips, cracks, hairline fractures, or flea bites.
