I found the strength to leave an abusive relationship and I was left to mother alone. The weight of extreme debt (marriage & medical) and the pain of loneliness is entirely overwhelming. However, watching my son grow is what gives me purpose. He is the ultimate reason I keep going and fighting for our future. It is extremely difficult to make it daily. Some days no gas to get to work or little food to eat, but I continue to live for a better non abusive life for both myself and my son. And for that, I am grateful. -Steph J
