Inspired by the vibrant beauty of Pennsylvania Dutch Fraktur, Dutch Blessing celebrates a centuries-old folk art tradition where bluebirds, flowers, vines, and heartfelt verses symbolized love, joy, faithfulness, and blessings for the home. Hand-painted Fraktur birth and marriage certificates often featured these cherished motifs, preserving family stories through color and craftsmanship. At the heart of this one-of-a-kind necklace is a vintage-style acrylic cabochon nestled in an ornate antique brass setting. Two bluebirds perch above the timeless sentiment: “To love and be loved is the greatest joy on earth.” Every bead was thoughtfully selected to echo the warmth of traditional Pennsylvania Dutch folk art. Repurposed lampwork glass beads—each unique in shape and decoration—are paired with millefiori glass, floral Czech glass, rich cobalt accents, emerald green crystals, and antique brass details.
