Proud and strong, the Buffalo Nickel is the showcase of the Buffalo Nickel Medallion Necklace. The Buffalo Nickel was minted from 1913 to 1938 and designed by James Earle Fraser. He used three different Native Americas as models to make the composite shown on the obverse of the coin. The coin is set in a gold tone rope bezel with jet black stones. The Buffalo Nickel coin hangs from a 18 inch goldtone chain with 3 inch extender and a lobster claw clasp for security. It measures 1 1/4" × 1 1/16" x 1/8" and weighs only 2 oz. It has a Certificate of Authenticity.
