Log Cabin Quilt Twin/Full Size 64x88” Earth Tones Machine Pieced Hand Quilted Vintage. Trying to figure this beauty out has been a challenge. The top is machine pieces - triangles of striped fabric that look like a traditional log cabin, but are really just 4-piece blocks. The backing is navy blue and clearly hand stitched. There is a bit in the seam that looks like where a tag was cut off (see photos). Was it a manufacturer tag or a maker’s signature that was removed? Dunno. The top shows fading consistent with age and it is still a striking piece of work that will add to your collection or create a beautiful bedroom. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions.
