Beautiful substantial hinged(detached) lid box featuring a highly detailed raised equestrian fox-hunt scene with riders on horseback, hounds, trees and countryside scenery. Ornate floral and scrollwork detailing surrounds the sides, with a dark velvet-lined interior and brass-tone piano hinge. Original “Genuine Incolay Stone – Handcrafted U.S.A.” label remains on the underside of the lid. Approximately 11+” long x 9” wide x 3” deep. Vintage condition with age-related surface wear/scratching and patina as shown. The dimensional scene appears nicely preserved. A striking statement piece for jewelry, keepsakes, equestrian décor, English country/old-world styling or an Incolay collection. The lid needs reattached to the base.
