This is an absolutely breathtaking antique Italian Venetian Murano glass wedding cake necklace. The beads are graduated in size, ranging from about 8 mm in the back to 12 mm in the front. They are red with gold, pink, and green floral wedding cake raised design on the outside. There are dark green spacer beads in between. Please note: there is one spot on the necklace towards the front where it appears that one of the small spacer beads is missing. Please see photos. This necklace is extremely old, perhaps one of the oldest versions of the wedding cake design. It has a solid 14k gold spring ring clasp that dates this piece to the Art Deco period. The clasp has been acid tested for 14k gold. Will fit up to a 24" neckline. Great vintage condition. All photos taken in natural lighting.
