Modern synthetic (lab created) rectangular blue opal cabochon set in a beautifully crafted heavy duty sterling silver ring design. Marked 925 and acid tested to confirm. The stone moves a little bit under one of the prongs but I am hesitant to tighten it because opal is so soft and too much pressure could damage the stone. So I just let it be. it's been that way since I bought it so I'm guessing the maker felt the same way. 😉 This is from my personal collection. I just don't wear it anymore. size 7
