Description: Beautiful antique silverplate cold meat or serving fork by Wm. A. Rogers (A1 silverplate), patented June 1897. The handle features an elaborate Rococo Revival design with rope-twist borders and bold scrollwork that is double-sided (decoration on both front and back). Four pointed tines. Length approximately 8 to 8.5 inches. Marked on the reverse "WM. A. ROGERS A1 — PAT. JUNE 97." Condition: Good antique condition with attractive aged patina. Light wear to plating consistent with age. No bent tines. A handsome late-Victorian serving piece.
