Product Details

An original 19th-century 17x20 hand-colored lithographic print titled Caucasian Snow Partridge Tetraogallus Caspius, illustrated by Edward Neale. This print originates from the 1860 publication 'The Birds of Great Britain' by John Gould. Edward Neale was one of the key artists employed by Gould, known for his precise and delicate rendering of game birds. The lithography was handled by the esteemed firm of M. & N. Hanhart, a major lithographic printer in 19th-century London.
