The pink lotus represents supreme spiritual awakening, enlightenment, and divine purity. Known in Eastern traditions as the "true lotus" and the earthly symbol of the Buddha, it represents the soul's journey rising above the muddy waters of adversity into the light of ultimate knowledge. Remove the protective shell on one side until you see white under coating to encourage germination with sandpaper. Place seeds in clear glass container in warm water and place in sunny location. Change water daily. Once desired size plant in soil in pond, pot, fishtank or other water location to encourage root growth.
