Product Details

A rare piece of EICO and postal‑history crossover ephemera — an original early‑1950s commercial mailing tube used by EICO to ship the 625‑06 roll chart for the Model 625 tube tester. Complete with its cancelled 3¢ Prexie stamp and original Brooklyn‑to‑Queens address label, this is a genuine manufacturer‑mailed artifact from the golden age of American test equipment. Perfect for collectors completing a Model 625 kit, display, or historical archive. This tube was mailed directly from EICO (Brooklyn, NY) to a customer in Jamaica, Queens, only eight miles away. The 3¢ postage aligns with the Third‑Class Printed Matter rate, valid through late 1951, placing the mailing firmly in the 1950–1952 window consistent with the Model 625’s production. The recipient, Frank Carpino (misspelled “Corpino” on the label), is traceable in Queens census, military, and SSDI records — a nice bit of provenance for collectors of EICO, vintage electronics, or postal history.
