Antique carte de visite (CDV) featuring a topographical albumen photograph of the Rathaus (Town Hall) and Market Square (Marktplatz) in Lübeck, Germany. Photographed by Carl Linde, Lübeck, circa 1875–1885. Period pencil notation on the reverse identifies the view as "Rathhaus from a corner of the Market Platz, Lubeck." A desirable architectural and city view CDV with appeal to collectors of German photography, topographical images, and Victorian travel photography.
