Product Details

Manual wind Winds great Super clean case and case back. Clear crystal Dial is exceptionally clean with very little spotting Runs and drives History: 1960s Orvin 17-jewel Swiss manual-wind dress watch with a cushion (TV-style) case. It has a silver sunburst dial, applied markers, and the dial is marked “Shock Resistant” and “Unbreakable Mainspring.” During the 1940s through the late 1970s, Orvin was a Swiss watch trademark used primarily for watches sold in the United States through Sears, Roebuck & Co. Rather than manufacturing its own movements, Orvin sourced quality Swiss movements from established makers such as Peseux, A. Schild, FHF, Lorsa, and others, then cased and branded them as Orvin.
