Beautiful vintage Persian micro mosaic celluloid inlaid trinket or jewelry box featuring an exceptionally intricate geometric design created from hundreds of individually applied hand-cut inlay pieces. Every visible surface—including both the interior and exterior—is decorated with the same detailed repeating pattern, reflecting the remarkable craftsmanship required to produce these boxes. Acquired from a well-appointed Princeton, New Jersey estate. A handwritten "Princeton 1978" inscription inside the box likely documents a previous owner's acquisition or ownership. The precision of the tiny mosaic work is best appreciated in the close-up photographs, where the individual inlaid elements become visible.
