This is a vintage, hand-crafted art glass sea turtle figurine which serves as a decorative paperweight. The shell is a heavy, domed orb of deep cobalt blue glass. The interior is infused with metallic aventurine flakes or glitter, mimicking a starry night or shimmering deep-ocean water. Two small, bright green glass sea stars (or coral-like clusters) are permanently fused to the upper peak of the shell, adding a distinct layer of texture and contrast. The appendages are five clear, solid glass elements that extend from the main body. This includes a sculpted, elongated head and four flattened, paddle-shaped flippers designed to stabilize the piece on flat surfaces. Great condition!
