Vintage Germany Fragonard style porcelain pendant necklace featuring a romantic Rococo-inspired courting scene set within an ornate gold-tone filigree frame. The porcelain cabochon displays a charming pastoral scene of a gentleman serenading a seated lady, created using a detailed porcelain transfer with soft hand-tinted coloring. The decorative openwork frame gives the piece an elegant Victorian Revival look. The pendant measures approximately 1.75 inches in diameter and hangs from a 16-inch gold-tone replacement chain. Total drop is 9.75 inches, and the necklace weighs 21.35 grams. The pendant is marked “Germany.” It is in very good vintage condition with attractive age-related patina and minor finish loss to the frame, consistent with age.
